This dysfunctional kitchen and dining room on Dalrymple Way did not flow with the rest of the home. Kurmak Builders took on this renovation to transform it into an elegant, warm, inviting space that was both beautiful and functional.
A load bearing wall needed to be removed in order to open up the space. We also removed and repaired an existing brick and mortar fireplace to accommodate a new decorative tile surround.
We were presented with a few challenges like tying the new flooring into the existing bathroom and bedrooms. Also, engineering new support for the removal of the load bearing wall was difficult but with the flow of light and open space, it was worth it.
